Candle Jar Vinyl Decor

I always seem to find little home items that could use a little pick-me-up with vinyl. That was what happened with a jar candle on my kitchen counter.

I started with a sentiment, and this week’s free design from the Silhouette Design Store.

  • After measuring and cutting the vinyl, I used the hook to week the vinyl around the small letters. (I find that smaller designs take a lot more patience with weeding. It’s easy to get in a hurry and take off half the design. I go slowly and use the hook.)
  • Then, I applied the design and two borders with transfer paper. Adding vinyl is a great way to add a little personality to a ho-hum candle.

Once you start personalizing things around the house with vinyl, it’s hard to stop. The sky is the limit.
