It’s turkey time!  Making these turkey hats could definitely be a kids craft, but I wouldn’t even mind rocking one of these gobblers.

I love picking different objects from all different designs in the Silhouette Design Store. I made these turkey party hats with all different items from all different designs, from previous purchases in the Silhouette Design Store.

Here’s what you will need to recreate these turkey party hats.

  • Design #45155, #51722, #52020 and #4553
  • Different Colors of Card Stock
  • Gold Twine
  • Hot Glue Gun/Glue Stick
  • Red 9-Inch Balloon

Start by opening up the designs in Silhouette Studio. I used the beak from design #45155, I used the eyes from design #51722, the party hat from design #4553 and finally, the feather from design #52020.Turkey Party Hats | like-the-cheese.com for Silhouette

After cutting the different pieces using your Silhouette, assemble the turkey hats with either a glue stick or hot glue gun. Attach the gobbler (balloon) to the beak using a hot glue gun. To make the hat wearable, attach the twine to the already cut holes on the side of the party hat. VIOLA.Turkey Party Hats | like-the-cheese.com for Silhouette

Brie Zacher

Hello, I'm Brie (like the cheese) and you can find me blogging over at like-the-cheese.com, a place where I can catalog my favorite projects and post anything I'm passionate about. My brain usually has way too many project tabs open at once, but I absolutely love doing anything that deals with DIY crafts, parties, yummy food, paper making, decor, design, and really good photography. I currently reside in Ogden, Utah and have been married for 5 years now to a good look'n hunk, whom I gave my number to at a bakery I used to work at (written on a PB&J sandwich). I also love Dr. Pepper and chocolate (insert flavor here) cupcakes.
