Are always taking pictures?
You’re always the one behind the lens?
I know that for me, I’m usually the one taking pictures. That’s ok because I’ve always loved taking photos and playing with my camera. I find it exciting to see the shots that I’ve captured from a little afternoon hike or a family vacation. Plus I always yearn to learn more about taking better photos.
So I decided to create a layout about me & my camera.
I used the Sketch Pens & Washi Tape on this layout.
First of all, I used it on my title. I cut the title out of the chevron design Washi Tape. I then offset the title and cut out the larger image from some black Adhesive Backed Cardstock. I kept the white backing on the Washi Tape (so that it didn’t get washed out from the black card stock) and adhered it to the black card stock.
I used very small strips of the heart design Washi Tape along the top & bottom edges of my layout. Very simple but adds just the right amount of colour on the white background to make the page ‘pop’ a bit.
I then used the ‘oh-so-fun’ Sketch Pens. I love using these!
I went into the sketch window and selected ‘plain’. (this creates a clean sketch of the image).
I then selected ‘Charcoal’ from the Fill Window. It fills in the image with these lines.
In order to have a red coloured heart I ungrouped the entire image. Then selected the heart shape and chose a ‘red’ colour from the LINE window.
In the CUT SETTING window I clicked on the heart shape and chose NO CUT. This way only the camera would be sketched in black. When it was done I selected NO CUT for the camera shape and then selected CUT for the heart, changed the sketch pen to red and voila!
