I’m a sucker for quick and easy upcycle, especially with Silhouette CAMEO or PORTRAIT. Seriously… endless. possibilities. for. life. And this was one of the easiest! I instantly fell in love with this Amy Tan Home Sweet Home shape from the Design Store, and was excited to put it to use. Originally, I wanted the entire shape (which included the words “Home Sweet Home” below the houses, but unfortunately the size of my rug was a bit too large for the amount of stencil material I had on hand…so, I had to improvise.
Another lesson learned – Check your stock BEFORE committing to a project. That’s the beauty of being able to adapt shapes, right? Right.
