Wooden Tic Tac Toe Game

Hi there! I’m beyond excited to be sharing my first project for the Silhouette Design Team, a wooden tic tac toe game.

I put my husband to work and had him cut and sand the game board and pieces. My game board is 8″ x 8″ and each game piece is 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, but you can resize it to fit your needs. After I cleaned off the wood all I had to do was adhere the adhesive vinyl. The dark pink and turquoise adhesive vinyl make a nice combo don’t you think?

Each block has an X on one side and an O on the other. Just place the blocks to the side then grab one as you take your turn.

Tic tac toe is a classic, but something about feeling the wooden pieces in your hands just makes it extra special. I love using Silhouette’s adhesive vinyl, but I could see this being a fun project to stencil too. You could even make a themed tic tac toe game by using two different shapes instead of Xs and Os.

Hi there, I’m Analisa! I love to travel and explore new places along with my husband and son. When we’re not on the go I’m happily crafting. I’ve been a crafter for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I collected every craft kit I could get my hands on. Not much has changed. I love my Silhouette because it such a versatile instrument for creating. I can stencil fabric with one project, then create stickers for my son with the next. I love experimenting with all it can do.

    1. Great! Once the wood is prepared it is almost too easy to make.
