  1. Wow this looks lovely!!

  2. This is a fun idea for BTS! I can’t believe it is already that time again!
I have been a follower for quite some time – love all the great ideas!
Che Said sent me over today and I am thankful for her giveaway and to Silhouette for being so fun!

  3. I am new to using the Silhouette. I love it and want to learn everything about it! How do you get the papers into the project so you can use them?

    1. Congrats on your new Silhouette…you will love it so much! I can’t seem to put mine down 😉 Do you mean how did I fill the pieces with a design? My video has some tips on how to do this…I opened my Digital paper folder and located the paper I wanted to fill my shape with. Then, selected my shape and held down my mouse as I dragged the paper into the shape. Is this making sense…?

  4. Very cute. Did you do a video for the bus? It really confuses me.

    1. Hi there- the video shows how to make the tag. To make the bus you would just use the same method as for the tag 🙂

  5. First off, these are so cute, but what kind of cardstock did you use for the print & cut? Also, the links to the website aren’t working. Thanks!

    1. Hi Kristen, I used textured 12×12 white cardstock paper pack from walmart. I also use Bazzill, American Crafts and Coordinations. Any you choose will do 🙂

  6. The video was helpful. Next time, I would like to you the steps of assembling the cut pieces together. Thanks!

  7. Absolutely adorable! Lucky teachers that get one of these 🙂

  8. This is just adorable! Fab project.
    Tine 🙂

  9. Wow, I never know you could fill shapes like that. I love it! It’s so much easier than how I was doing it by using the crop tool!!!

  10. This one has been on my wish list! It turned out so adorable!

  11. Such a cute idea!

  12. This is to cute! thats what Che said sent me! Thanks for the giveaway

  13. I absolutely love this! I would love this from one of my students. However, I think I would love to make one for my teacher friends. That’s What Che Said sent me over to show some love. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  14. That’s so cute! Thanks for sharing! That’s What Che Said sent me. Thanks for the giveaway.

  16. Your designs are always so wonderful and artistic, keep ’em coming, and thank you for the great instructions!

  17. I love this! I’m hoping to win one of these from That’s What Che Said’s website! Awesome giveaway!

  18. Didn’t know you could drag the paper in.I’m going to make time to play this weekend.

  19. Do you have to have Silhouette Design Studio to drag the digital paper into the shape? I couldn’t get it to work in Silhouette Studio. The whole paper showed up, but not constrained to the shape. Suggestions?

    1. Hi there! That’s a great question since I used Studio Ilustrato’s SVG files from the Silhouette Shop…they are in Sil format so I’m thinking it would work in both Studio and the designer edition.

Try clicking on the paper, hold down on the mouse and drag onto the paper. HOLD until the shape fills. If you let go too soon you will get a whole page filled with the paper.

    2. Did you have the shape selected before you dragged in the paper file?

    3. YES! I did have the shape selected First. Thank you, Stacey 🙂

    4. Me again… I purchased the bus box and I’m trying to do this with a digital paper. Does the paper have to be Sil format? or can it be png or jpeg? Right now, no matter how slowly I go it fills the whole page.

    5. I also tried importing the paper into my designs and then moving it to my patterns but it wouldn’t let me.

    6. I finally got it to work in the free version of Silhouette Studio. I imported the design to My Library, selected the shape I wanted to fill (in this case the bus), found the yellow digital paper which I had just imported in My Own Designs, and double clicked on it. I was able to use the fill tools to rotate and re-scale the paper image once it was in the shape. Maybe someone else can find an easier way to do this in the free version of the software that doesn’t fill up space in the My Own Designs folder each time, but at least this get’s the job done.

    7. Hiya! So happy you got it to work! Im using Silhouette Designer editiin…I thought I mentioned but ill go back and change that. Please Select your shape First then drag and hiover over the shape! Can’t wait to see your bus 🙂

  20. I’d love to get my hands on a Cameo so that I could create this project! Stopping by from the That’s What Che Said to thank y’all for the giveaway!

Michelle @ Ya Gotta Have a Hobby

  21. That’s a super cute little bus! I’m hoping to win a Cameo so I can make similar cuteness! That’s What Che Said sent me and I’m thankful and happy to be here! 😀

  22. LOVE the cameo and would be thrilled to win one. I came here via the blog What would Che say to say thanks for the giveaway she’s offering!

  23. How did you get the inside of the bus to be colored? Do you have a printer that prints on 12×12 paper? I have only been able to PnC on 8.5×11 designs because of this…

    1. Hi Lalapette,
      Thank you for your questions.

To fill in the bus, used the same click and drag technique I used for my ‘teacher’ tag.

I think if you want to turn the bus file vevertically on an 8.5×11″ page it will fit to print.

  24. Thank you, Everyone! I’m glad you liked my project and tutorial 🙂 Craft on!
