Mouse Pad Makeover

Here is a simple way to use your Silhouette to give a plain, inexpensive mouse pad a quick makeover. Here it is before…

I mentioned last week in this post that I’d share more project ideas for the ‘subtract all’ tool, and for this project it definitely came in handy! I wanted to keep the surface of the mousepad smooth, so I used the ‘subtract all’ tool to create the design which created a space to inlay the text rather than have it layered over the top.

I cut both shapes out of fabric/clean cut interfacing which made it a cinch to just iron the design right to the mousepad! Here it is with a little more pizazz!
