Print and Cut Distressed Alphabet

We love this distressed circle alphabet! When it’s printed, it has the look of being hand stamped, which I love! I used it here to label this box of vacation photos…
Besides using the alphabet for labels, scrapbook pages or cards, I can also see using just the distressed circles from this shape combined with other shapes in my library. Like these travel icons. Cute!
To use the distressed circles, sans alphabet, open the shape in Silhouette studio, and with the shape selected click the ungroup icon at the bottom left of the screen. Then, click ungroup again. Now you can delete the letters and add your other shapes. Easy peasy!
I hope you enjoy your new shape!

  1. Can you tell us where you got the box and inserts?

    1. They are from the online store, and part of the shape bundle linked toward the bottom of the post 🙂

  2. Love all the free shapes and the blog. I was wondering if you can ‘cut’ sugar sheets with the Silhouette cameo….I did search the blog and didn’t find anything so I thought I’d ask! Thanks in advance.

  3. Adorable! Will these work on the original Silhouette?

  4. So cute and a freebie to boot !

  5. Still love coming here everyday for tutorials and freebies!

Is there a problem shooting section. My portrait has trouble lining up and cutting the printed shapes. I can explain better if I know where to ask. 😉

    thanks again

  6. Hi from France,
I try to download the free shape of the week but, in my cart, it’s said I have to pay … Can you tell me why please ?

    1. Sorry, that was an error. It has been corrected so you should be able to download it for free.

    2. I had the same problem while trying to get it through the website (not sure why…?), so I just opened up the software and was able to download it for free that way. Hope that helps.

  7. This weeks shape is not free. When you go to the shopping cart, it tries to charge you $0.99. Please can you fix this so that we can download our free shape. Thank you.

    1. It has been corrected, you should be able to download it for free.
