DIY Travel Tic Tac Toe

This travel tic tac toe is sure to be hit for kids everywhere!

For the front of the bag I used both smooth and flocked heat transfer, and I really like the mixture of textures…
Then, so that the game was self contained, I flipped the bag over and ironed the tic tac toe grid right to the back…

For the actual game pieces, there are x’s and o’s that come with the tic tac toe shape, but I found these little animal shapes in the online store that went along with my camping theme. So, I print/cut them out of the printable clear sticker paper and adhered them to the bottom side of wooden checkers. They are durable, and pretty cute too!

Now, you probably don’t need to do any actual traveling to make good use of a game like this. It’s just the right size to fit in a purse for those times when you are on the go, and the littles need some quiet entertainment. 🙂
