Hi, guys! I'm psyched to be a part of this years Silhouette Design Team. I live in beautiful Washington State, the East side with the Apples Orchards, Farms, and Vineyards (no Mountains here!). My passion lies in creating with natural materials and being outside. I own Knot Knot Outfitters, where I get to work with wood, metal, and leather every day making Wooden Bow Ties. My free time is spent with my husband, 2 boys (ages 2 and 4), and our Bearded Dragon, Scruffy. We love to hang out at the Columbia River, smoke our own jerky, and go camping in our newly renovated 1967 Airstream. It's been my biggest and most fun project to date!
Where are you from?
Along the banks of the winding Columbia River, in beautiful Kennewick, WA.
How long have you been a Silhouette user?
I’ve been a Silhouette user for over two fabulous years!
What kind of materials or media do you use most?
I’m a sucker for the look of natural materials. I love Silhouette’s Leatherette and Wood Sheets. They add a richness to designs that I feel like vinyl or fabric just can’t always give.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I think the best inspiration comes from other makers! Find people whose style you love, follow them, and follow the people they follow. The crafting community is so talented and so diverse that there is sure to be someone out there who you can look up to.
Which Silhouette product do you like or use the most?
I have a CAMEO, Curio, and Mint. The Curio has to be my favorite, though. I love its ability to cut thicker material like leather, and that it can etch metal. I feel like the Curio has no limits!
