I'm a mother to 2 beautiful boys and an interior designer with a passion for all things crafty. I recently started my own business combining all my loves into one called Project 378. I discovered the Silhouette CAMEO in 2012 right after my wedding (bummer, I know!) and I've had a healthy addiction to using it ever since. I've since added to my collection with the Mint and a heat press. Being a part of this team is a dream come true and I hope to inspire you to discover new ways to beautify your world.
Where are you from?
I currently live in Sugar Grove, IL which is about an hour west of Chicago. I grew up mainly in Rochester Hills, MI and I’m a Michigan State University Alumni.
How long have you been a Silhouette user?
I discovered this magical device right AFTER my wedding in 2012. If I had only known a few months prior I would have saved sooo much time! I can thank my sister-in-law for making the introduction by giving me amazing custom gifts made with her CAMEO.
What kind of materials or media do you use most?
I’m currently obsessed with finding new uses for the amazing tattoo paper. Pretty much any of the specialty media products call to me the most. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new line up!
Where do you find your inspiration?
As a mom with 2 young children I don’t get much sleep. I seem to have creative thoughts during those 4am feedings. I love following bloggers on instagram and of course Pinterest is an endless source of ideas.
Which Silhouette product do you like or use the most?
My CAMEO! I use it almost every.single.day. I also love the Silhouette Studio software, I try to learn a new trick at least once a week.
Fun Facts about me
I love bird shapes! You will find them scattered all through-out my house.
I have been crafting since I was a little girl. My mom encouraged me to be creative and always made sure I had supplies. I remember sitting at the kitchen table stamping and embossing thank you cards after holidays every year.
- I wish I could be a professional idea/product generator for companies. I can come up with the idea but have no idea how to do the follow through. Please someone tell me this is a real job!! :)
