Girl’s Halloween Tee

When it comes to Halloween, I can’t help but want to go all out with fun decorations, homemade costumes, and even festive t-shirts like this one.

Of course, Halloween doesn’t have be all orange and black. The gold and purple complement each other really well on this shirt. I’ve been waiting for a reason to break out the gold fabric ink since it’s oh so gorgeous. It’s pretty thick so it only took one layer to give me the coverage I wanted.

If you’re impatient like me and don’t like waiting for the fabric ink to dry, try using a hair dryer to speed up the process. After a few minutes of heat I was able to peel off the stencil vinyl and move on to the heat transfer material part of my project.

Since I was already ironing down my heat transfer material, I went over the fabric ink with the iron as well. It’s always a good idea to heat set your fabric ink.

The glitter heat transfer material makes my heart go pitter patter every time I use it. I just love how the “spooky” design looks in the purple glitter. It’s so sweet and swirly! One of my favorite things about using the glitter heat transfer material is that it stays put and doesn’t rub off on everything else. I get all the fun of glitter without the pesky mess!

Whether you like your Halloween sweet or spooky, I hope this gives you some inspiration for Halloween fun.

Hi there, I’m Analisa! I love to travel and explore new places along with my husband and son. When we’re not on the go I’m happily crafting. I’ve been a crafter for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I collected every craft kit I could get my hands on. Not much has changed. I love my Silhouette because it such a versatile instrument for creating. I can stencil fabric with one project, then create stickers for my son with the next. I love experimenting with all it can do.

  1. Love the glitter and gold combination! (I think I’ll have to add the gold fabric ink to my wish list.) Such a cute shirt, Analisa!

    1. Thanks Kelly! Silhouette’s fabric inks always go on nice and thick for me, but the gold was even more impressive than I was expecting.
