One can never have too many throw pillows! They are such a great way to add pops of color and texture to otherwise neutral decor. However, trying to collect a lot of different throw pillows to mix and match can get pretty costly when the price tags are between $25-$50 a pop. To keep things on a budget, I decided to make a reusable and variable size no-sew pillow cover. When I want to change up the look of a room, all I have to do is whip out this pillow cover and pop it on, and then take it off again whenever the mood strikes!
I used some gold heat transfer material and had my CAMEO cut out the word ‘cheers’ which is my signature signout over on my blog! Whenever you use heat transfer material, make sure to reverse your image in the Silhouette Studio, otherwise it won’t iron on correctly.
To make a no-sew pillow cover, it only takes second! The first step is to iron on your heat transfer vinyl. Once it’s cooled, place your pillow in the middle of your design, fold over the top and bottom of the fabric and then take the ends and tie them over one another to make a knot. Tuck in the ends and you’re done! A quick and changeable no-sew pillow cover!
