5 Projects To Make For Christmas

It’s almost as soon as the clock strikes midnight after Thanksgiving that our minds go directly to Christmas (and for a good reason)! There is so much prep work that goes into Christmas. Between the shopping, creating things, and cooking, we even wonder how we find time for it all. We definitely always seem to find time to craft, and that’s because Christmas crafts are some of the most fun to do! To kick off the giving season, we thought we would give you 5 winter and Christmas projects to try this year!

Project One: Temporary Tattoo Ornaments

Did you think that our Temporary Tattoo Paper could only be used on your arms? Well, Miss Rachel from The Crafted Life is here to prove you wrong! She guarantees that in 10 minutes you can make beautiful and completely custom ornaments. Imagine using our new Temporary Tattoo Paper in gold, silver, and white, or you could even use our new Image Transfer Sheets! Whatever it be, you have to make these this year. We can just imagine them on our trees now!

Project Two: Gift Tags With The Mint

Do you have a Silhouette Mint? It’s time to dust off that machine and get to stamping! All Mint materials have been heavily discounted for Christmas, and that means you’re about to make a whole lot of stamps. Making custom gift tags with the Mint is so easy that we bet you could do it with your eyes closed! If you’re new to the Mint and want to learn all there is to know about it, Damask Love can break it all down for you. She also has made tons of witty sayings that would be hysterical to put on anyone’s gift!

Three: 3D House Ornaments

We love ourselves a mini Christmas village. We don’t know what it is about it, but it puts a smile right on our faces. When we saw Kelly Wayment put these tiny houses on her tree, we about lost it. What is cuter than that? You could replicate them just like she did or make them look like real gingerbread. Either way, you’re tree totally needs to be decorated with a mini village.

Project Four: Rustic Serving Tray

Imagine this amazing serving tray at the center of your coffee table. Yeah, you totally need to whip up this bad boy. Our gal from My Frugal Adventures did an amazing job of combining two of our favorite things: hot cocoa and rustic signs. She used vinyl as a stencil to achieve this look. Our Silhouette cutting machines make a project like this so simple!

Project Five: Festive Sentiment Gift Wrapping

Have you ever gotten a gift that was too pretty to rip open? That’s exactly how we feel about Martiza Lisa’s DIY! We like how she ditched the bow and instead cut out large festive words to take the bow’s place. We also like how she used our Gold Sticker Paper in a new exciting way. Not only will this make gift wrapping so much faster, it’ll be a lot less to clean up.

We hope some of these projects have inspired you! We know they have inspired us.

What projects do you have lined up for the rest of this year?
