Christmas at the beach is my favorite time at the beach! White Christmas at our home means sand between your toes. Making your own beach holiday décor is quick and easy with a little chipboard and glitter heat transfer vinyl.
I mean, how cute is this Sandy Claws stone crab? The bronze glitter vinyl reflects the sunset perfectly. The design is my own! When I’m not crafting, you can find me drawing crustaceans and hand-lettering designs. I’m funny like that.

- Sandy Claws design (I drew this design myself, and you can use it for personal projects, but there are lots of other fun options in the Silhouette Design Store.)
I opted for these sweet sand dollar and starfish designs for my Adirondack chairs. Both are available in the Silhouette Design Store (see links above).
I can’t wait to wrap this starfish garland around a beach-themed Christmas tree.
To get the two-tone sandy colors, I used gold metallic cardstock and Silhouette Chipboard. The design is another fun starfish from the Silhouette Design Store (Starfish, Design ID #144542). This design has polka dots. I kept one dot per starfish for a ready-made hole to thread the bakers twine. The other dots were cute, but had to go! They were too small for the tiniest half-inch starfish.

For my next garland project, I think I’ll try vellum! I can picture the gold Christmas lights twinkling through vellum seashells!
