Print & Cut Framable Art

Teach Me Tuesdays | Print & Cut | Hoodies and Holidays | Brittany Sazonoff (BSaz Creates) for Silhouette America

Whether your looking to add some last minute holiday decor before your guests arrive, or you’re looking for a quick and easy “I need a gift right now” project- this design won’t disappoint! I feel like it sums up my holiday priorities perfectly.

After downloading, start by opening up the design in Silhouette Studio. You can resize the artwork according to the size of your frame. Mine is set to cut as a 5 x 7.

Before printing, be sure to turn the registration marks on in the registration window in Silhouette Studio.

Once your registration marks are turned on, simply send your project to print. You can then load your printed artwork on to your CAMEO or Portrait cutting mat, and load it into the machine. Check your cut settings in the cut settings window to be sure they are appropriate with the material you printed on. The cardstock I used was rather thick, so I chose the coverstock option and manually adjusted my blade to the recommended setting of 7.

Now, just let the magic of your machine do the work of recognizing the registration marks and cutting your new print out. Frame it up, gift it out. Whatever your plan, just get to makin!
