Sketched Table Art

Oh how I love fall and coming together with those we love & cherish. There are so many things to be thankful not just at this time of the year but all year long.

With that being said, it’s is at this time of the year that we think of what we are grateful for.  I live in Canada so we’ve already celebrated our Thanksgiving but I know that many of my US friends are getting ready in anticipation of this festive time.

So I decided to create a sign/layout that can be displayed on a coffee table, mantle or buffet table.

I used the Curio to create this project.  It’s a beautiful design found in the Silhouette Online Design Store and I decided to use a sketch pen to create the image. I used a bronze metallic colored sketch pen and love how it turned out.

I chose the pencil line setting for the words and the pen setting for the leaf design on the outer edges. It was just a thicker image and had a bit of an offset image to it which I liked.

After the image was sketched I simply peeled off the backing of the Printable Adhesive Cardstock and adhered to some patterned gingham paper and then to another piece of patterned paper with a woodgrain/pallet look. I love how it turned out!
