You guys! Brittany here. As many of you know, I’m a long-time lover of my Silhouette CAMEO, but have recently started to get my flirt on with the Silhouette Curio. We’ve been taking things slow, but as of today I’m in full-blown girl crush mode with this gem of a machine. Can we just take a second to gawk over how (*explicative*) awesome this debossing/embossing feature on the Curio is?! More-so, I’m in love with the detailing abilities of the Fine Tip Embossing Tool!
Utilizing the Fine Embossing Tool in the tool holder of my Silhouette Curio, I was able to add such elegant detail to these baby shower invitations without making them too busy, gawdy, or distracting. I absolutely LOVE how the debossed pattern looks as a minimalistic texture in the background.
Like on the Silhouette CAMEO, the Print & Cut feature still remains, so I was able to print these invites and have my Curio detect where to deboss the background design thanks to the magic of registration reading. These machines still impress me every.single.time. I use them.
I cut out a few little bow shapes to add a pop of color, and there you have it! Cute, chic, detailed invitations- all done from the comfort of home. How can you lose? Happy Crafting!
