Spiderweb Door Decor

Spooky diy vinyl door decor using Silhouette CAMEO

Halloween is almost here and what better way to usher in the trick or treaters than a spooky spiderweb door.

Creating this large vinyl spiderweb was easy using the 24″ cutting mat and my CAMEO. To create your own, here are the supplies you’ll need:

  • black vinyl
  • transfer paper
  • CAMEO
  • hook tool
  • scraper

To get started you’ll select your spiderweb and change it to desired size.

If you are using the 24″ cutting mat, make sure you select the mat size in the settings and you’ll cut the spiderwebs in two halves. After you have weeded out the excess vinyl, you’ll overlap the lines to create one cohesive spiderweb. Apply strips of transfer paper to vinyl in preparation for application. When you have your area cleaned and ready for the vinyl, you’ll peel back the transfer paper carefully with the vinyl.

Press your design securely to the door. You can use a scraper to make sure the vinyl is pressed down completely.

Gently start peeling back transfer tape.

To add some extra flair, attach a spooky 3d or vinyl spider to your web and you are ready for trick or treaters!
