“Oh Happy Day” Card

I typically love cards with lots of layers and intricate designs, but every once in a while it’s fun to create something bold, clean and graphic! As soon as I saw the “Oh Happy Day” cut file in the Silhouette Design Store, I knew I wanted to create a card with that as it’s focal design.

To make the white cardstock stand out, I backed the inside of the card with blue cardstock. If you wanted to write your message so that it wouldn’t show through the window, just make a flap so when you flip up the blue piece, it reveals the message!

I added some colorful enamel dots to add character and texture to the simple card. This is one you could easily make for several people – it’s so quick and easy! I plan on making lots and sending them out to friends.
