Hello friends! Brittany here, sharing this giant geotag project of mine with you all. As some of you may have learned over the past couple years, I am a BIG fan of thrifting & antiquing. One of my most recent adventures landed me some awesome vintage topographic maps for $1, which led me to this project!
Using Silhouette’s Adhesive Gold Vinyl, I cut out a large version of design #56297 from the Silhouette Design Store to adhere to the center of my map. I love this geotag design because to me it represents being here, being present, no matter where you are. I also love how the map texture plays through the letters of “here” and of course, the gold vinyl is still a fave. I was also relieved that I could use Silhouette transfer paper to transfer the vinyl onto old paper without it ripping or ruining any part of the map. The fact that I am able to cut out a design this large with my CAMEO and make new wall art in minutes still impresses me. This machine is magic.
So, cheers to being here…wherever here is. Happy crafting!
