Patterned Chevron Card

One technique I love incorporating into my cards is backing my cuts with patterned paper. There are so many great cut files available that look great when layered over a pattern.

I chose one of my new favorites, a modern chevron stripe, and layered it over a few different patterns to create a fun birthday or all occasion card.

The original cut file doesn’t contain an outside cut line, but it’s easy to add an outline in the Silhouette Studio software by just selecting the shape and clicking on the Offset button. Then your machine will cut out the perfect chevron frame!
