Paper Succulent

One of my most favorite things about Silhouette America is the weekly free designs offered in the design store. I was so giddy when I saw this week’s free design. This succulent is so lovely and you won’t believe how easy it is to assemble.

After cutting out my card stock, I folded each individual leaf on the perforated lines.

After each leaf is creased, you’ll start layering your succulent together with the largest leaves at the bottom moving up. I used hot glue to attach each layer. When all of the layers are assembled you’ll have a beautiful diy paper succulent. This is such a fun and versatile shape with endless possibilities.

  2. Looks great!

  3. Oh, niice! Finally, something green that I can keep alive!

    1. Haha! My thoughts exactly, Cathy!

      1. Me, too! I’m making this one for my desk at work. It didn’t take long for me to kill my last plant. No more. 😉

  4. Perhaps a dumb question, but what is the rectangle for?

    1. To be honest I have no idea.

    2. That small strip is the center. Just roll it and glue the end down into the center of your succulent.

  5. Love this but what is the small strip for?

    1. I’m not really sure.
