Layered Floral Love Card

One of my favorite card-making techniques is to layer delicate elements in a collage style. Silhouette cut files are perfect for this because you can pick designs that you love and mix them together to create something beautiful!

I chose a floral background pattern as my base and cut it out using my Silhouette CAMEO and water color paper. After the file was cut out, I simply took my watercolors and gently brushed some pink, blue and yellow over the top of it.

I wanted to create a card that would be great for a wedding, anniversary or just because! So I added an ampersand cut file that I cut out from gold foil cardstock. On top of that I added a beautiful cut file with the “love” sentiment in white cardstock. I think this adds the perfect touch.

To top off the card, I added a clothespin and some gold glitter dots.
