If you’ve been looking for a valentine activity to do with the kids I have just the thing. This pot of flowers would make a sweet gift and is easy enough for just about any age to put together.
For each lollipop flower you’ll need to cut out two petal shapes and one leaf. We used small lollipops so I resized the shape before cutting. For any teachers out there, this would make a great classroom activity since you can cut out plenty of these flower shapes ahead of time. To assemble all you do is slide the two petal shapes and then the leaf onto the stick of the lollipop. Ours were perfectly snug so they stayed on without the need for glue.
Once the flowers are assembled stick them in the foam base of a small plastic flower pot.
I used Silhouette’s printable white sticker paper to make a label for the front of the flower pot. Print and cut makes everything so much easier, don’t you think?
My little one will be so proud to share this with someone special on Valentine’s Day. Are there any gifts you plan to make together?
