Simple Heat Transfer Pillow

My favorite thing about heat transfer material is that it’s so simple to customize basic items – including this great canvas pillow cover I found at the craft store for less than $3.

When I spotted the natural-colored pillow case, I knew it would be great with a burst of color and cheeky design.

To create it, I used smooth heat transfer material in lime green. After cutting the design, I ironed it onto the fabric. (Tip: Many times, I find it’s easier to iron the heat transfer material onto fabrics after washing them once.)

I’m a wife, toddler momma, blogger and notorious dabbler. I believe in letting go of perfection and prefer to enjoy the journey and embrace the mistakes. I love decorating, crafting and gardening – and I also believe that nearly anything is cause for celebration. That means I've created more heat transfer T-shirts and customized banners than I can count.
