Heat Transfer ‘Hello’ Tote Bag

Hello Tote Bag | Dawn Warnaar for Silhouette

Have you ever used heat transfer material? Once you do, you will want to heat transfer all the things!

I started by picking a design and opening it in Silhouette Studio. I measured my bag to see how big to make the “Hello” phrase. Don’t forget to mirror your design so it reads correctly when you iron it on!

After I weeded my design with the Silhouette hook, I applied it to my tote and set the design with heat (iron on cotton setting without steam) and a pressing cloth.

Then just peel off the transfer sheet and check to ensure all edges are adhered well. If not, apply heat again using the pressing cloth until well-adhered.

Happy creating!
