Sketch Pen Valentine

Today I have a simple, kid friendly valentine idea to share that I made using the sketch feature of the Silhouette.

Coloring valentines…

Just My Type Sketched Valentines

You can create your own coloring valentines using any of your favorite shapes {or those designed specifically for sketching} and simply replace the blade in your Silhouette with a sketch pen, select Silhouette sketch pen in your cut settings window, click cut as normal and watch it work it’s magic! Then, the kids can color them in before giving them away, or how cute would they be attached to a little box of crayons?

  1. I don’t yet own a Silhouette, but I think the greatest feature is that you hook it up to the computer and it cuts any shape I can create! Wow, not having to purchase a $70 cartridge just to be able to cut out 1 butterfly…that would be fantastic!!!! Such a generous giveaway – thank you.

  2. I love the print and cut feature. I’m a newbie to the silhouette and that feature had me sold when I saw it. It made me switch from the “other” brand. I have no regrets so far. I can’t wait to discover more. Thanks.

  3. My favorite thing about the Silhouette is that I can buy individual images (instead of an entire cartridge) and resize them to just the right size or alter them as needed.
