Valentine Heart Arrow

Valentine Heart Arrow

Hi there!  Today I have a few project ideas to share using this week’s free shape, a cute, trendy heart tipped arrow.

Add a little fun to an after school Valentine treat, by adding the top piece to a striped straw and the heart to the front of the bottle or cup…

Pair the shape with a sparkly {unsharpened} pencil for a non-sweets valentine…

and try out the print and cut feature of your Silhouette to create a ‘love struck’ tag as the finishing touch…

See, super easy and a great way to decorate a classroom, a doorway or window at home for the holiday!

  3. The pencils are my favorite, but those are all fun uses of this shape. Thanks for the cute freebie!

  4. All so cute Jeana! I love the dangling heart arrows best!

  5. I love the font on the love struck. What is it called?

    1. It’s fun, huh? It is called ‘Lane’

  6. What type of adhesive did you use to put the two hearts together on the pencil Valentines?

    1. I used tacky glue around the edges, to create a pocket.

  7. Hi I’m trying to make the heart arrows. Any tips on getting the heart to stay attached to the pencil? They are valentines for my 3 yr old but I’m afraid they will fall apart.

    1. I glued 2 of the hearts to create a ‘pocket’ leaving just enough room at the top for the pencil to fit in and they stay on really well.
