Leaf Border Candle Wrap
First Cut

Leaf Border Candle Wrap

Check out this decorative candle wrap!

To create the wrap, I first cut the leaf border out of stamp material, inked it lightly and stamped it on a strip of cardstock.
Then, I cut the single leaf shape and stem out of cardstock and adhered them together.  Next, to give the wrap a little bit of dimension I creased the leaves down the center and adhered them right over the top of some of the leaves in the stamped border. Then, I adhered the strip of cardstock to a larger piece of patterned paper to give it some additional color and with just a couple of glue dots adhered it to the jar, and it’s done. Easy, peasy right?

How cute would this border be on the tiny jar candles for a ‘happy fall!’ neighbor or teacher gift? Because I can make the shape any size I need in Silhouette Studio, making this on a smaller scale would be super easy to do!

What ideas do you have for this week’s shape?
