Easy Chalk Art Print and Cut

Easy Chalk Art Print and Cut

Who doesn’t love chalk art?  If you haven’t been living under a rock (wink* wink*), I’m sure you’ve noticed that chalkboards are trending BIG time in everything from home decor and parties, to scrapbooking and cardmaking.  Add in the cute floral and wreath trend and you’ve got yourself a pretty awesome card, I think!

I used a cute phrase that has that great “chalk art” look, and paired with bright papers, the chalkboard really pops!

I have a few tips and tricks to share with you on how easy it was to create this Print & Cut chalk art, so I made a video!

  2. Thanks for sharing this. I love the chalkboard look, but don’t have any chalkboard paper. I’m glad to see that I can still do it! I think I’m going to go make a card *right now* 🙂

  3. Thanks for the tutorial on this very cute card. I hadn’t thought of doing something like this, but it’s a neat idea.

  4. Great tutorial and card. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Great idea! Love it! Thanks Jen!

BTW I used to have major issues do P&C because it would make these weird lighter rectangles on my images (especially larger things) BUT that ONLY happened when I printed from the Studio. I started clicking Print, then the little PDF option would be on the window (I use a Mac so not sure about a PC). I started using the “Open as a PDF” or “Save as a PDF” options and printed from Preview (my PDF reader of choice) and it prints like a dream. Just a suggestion to try for those that struggle with that feature.
