All Occasions Spinner Card – Silhouette America Blog

All Occasions Spinner Card

I think you are going to love the versatility of this spinner!  It has eight different icons that can be used for a variety of card types, so with this one shape, you are set to go for several occasions.  It’s awesome!
It seems like everyone I know is pregnant right now, so I went with a baby card this time.
We’ve created the shape so that you can easily ungroup it to change the colors if you want.  I simply printed the spinner, and then printed the bottle in a contrasting color so it would stand out. (If you’re new to print and cuts, this video may be helpful!)
I cut the base circle and the arrow out of chipboard and mounted my cardstock to it for extra stability.  All that was left was to add a coordinating sentiment!

It makes for a really cute baby card and I love that there are so many other ways that I can use this free shape!  Put this versatile shape to the test – I can’t wait to see what you all create!  Be sure to share it…we adore seeing your crafty creations!

Have an awesome day!

  1. Love the spinner card! How do you change the color of the icons (bottle, ect.)? When I change the fill color the entire spinner is colored. When I do the outline file, only the outline is colored. Help!

    Thanks in advance.

    1. You need to keep “ungrouping” until each shape is separated from the hole then after you change colors to what you wish you can “regroup” them back together again.

    2. oops. I meant whole.

    3. ^^^jenniejones is right! Keep ungrouping!

  2. Wow Jen, amazing card. Today was one of those days where the creative juices were running slow. Verrrry slowwww! I checked the blog at my normal time today and…..BAM. Your card was exactly what I wanted to create for my cousin. I mean EXACTLY! Well, except for the fact that she’s having a girl. Now, normally I see your designs and add my own create flair, but you already did everything for me! It’s perfect. SO, that being said, I hope you don’t mind that I copied your work like I was in high school. But, I did add some pink glitter. Does that count as creative? Don’t judge me.

  5. This is going to be perfect for my memory boxes. We have two people pregnant, one with a girl and one with a boy. Can’t wait to cut this.

  6. The card’s really cute!

I’m just wondering, what was the font used for “baby” and “boy”?
