Chalkboard Treat Box

I read somewhere over the weekend that the treat box is the new thank you card. I am not sure they will ever replace cards, but they are definitely a fun way to say ‘thank you’ or let someone know you are thinking about them!

With the kids back in school, or headed that way soon, I thought it would be fun to use the white sketch pen and black cardstock to create a little ‘chalkboard’ treat box to toss in with their lunch.

You can even add some confetti inside for an added surprise.

Quick tip ::  When you are sketching on a regular cut shape, be sure NOT to unload your mat between cutting and sketching to ensure that you get your sketched image in the right place on your box. 🙂
