Look at this fun geometric, pyramid shaped box.
Because, as with most shapes, my brain went right to ‘how can I make this party friendly?’, I added the pull tab so that it can be easily opened/closed and filled with treats or confetti!
To add the pull tab :: I drew a circle using the tab on the box as a guide.
Then I copied/pasted it into a new file…
Used the text tool to type ‘pull’…
Used the fill color window to fill the letters with one of the colors in my color scheme…
Turned on the registration marks in the registration marks window and it was all set to print!
Once they were printed/cut I adhered them to the bottom tab on the box. Super simple, but leaves no guessing as to where/how to open the box.
I think these boxes would be super cut adhered together to make a larger shape, or strung on some twine to create a 3d bunting, or even adhered in a frame using cardstocks with an ombre color scheme to display in my home. Or… I’m guessing it something the kids would love to play with for a while too! 🙂 I see lot’s of fun about to happen in Silhouette land!
Enjoy your new shape!
