Easter Memory Game – Silhouette America Blog

Easter Memory Game

Hi there! Have  you heard about the Easter shape sale going on now in the Silhouette Design Store? All Easter shapes are 25% off! So, since you are all stocked up {or will be} on Easter shapes, I wanted to share a quick, non-sweets gift idea, using those cute shapes. Your stash of Easter shapes, paper and adhesive is all you will need to create this Easter memory game…

To create your own set of cards… Start by drawing 3″ x 3″ squares using the rounded rectangle tool, and cut them out of white textured cardstock.

Then, if you want the back sides of the cards to be cute too, cut the same squares out of a patterned paper and adhere them to the back of each white square.

Next, open your Easter shapes and size them using the 3″x3″ square as a guide.

Then, duplicate each shape once so each of them have a match. Cut each match out of the same colored papers and adhere them to the white side of the card.

Now shuffle them up and they are ready to be played. The little ones in your life will love it!

Other project tips:

* For durability sake, once all of the game cards are assembled it’s a good idea to laminate them.
* If you are giving them as a gift, or for storage purposes this 3d box  fits them just about perfectly.

Shapesclick on the shapes below to link to them in the Silhouette online store. The size listed is that of the shape used in today’s project. When entering this size, be sure to click ‘lock aspect ratio’ first.

3 easter eggs {1.845″ w}
easter set {tulip 2.175″w}
bunny {1.375″w}
baby chick {2.230″w}
