Thursday’s Scrapbook Sketch

Did you have family photos taken last year for Christmas cards? Now is the time to scrap at least one of those photos for memory sake. You might even see if your photographer wouldn’t mind including an out-take or two and scrap them both on opposite pages for a little comparison of reality and perfection. :) This photo is of one of my very best friends and her cute family. I get to design their family Christmas card each year so she sends me several to choose from. It’s often hard to decide which one to choose because they are all great. {you might have that same dilemma?} So, my theory is… if it doesn’t make it on the Christmas card, make it the star of a scrapbook layout.

Here are some of the smaller details… I love the look of paint splatters on my pages. You can get a similar effect using various sizes of rhinestones and dots.

There are some great words and phrases in the online store that work great as titles for scrapbook pages.  I love this scripty “together”.

Happy scrapping, friends!  Come back tomorrow for some fun fan features and a giveaway!

Wow, did you reuse a spiral notebook back? It looks great and adds a lot! I would have never thought to use that.
