Sketch Challenge Winner & Little Red Riding Hood

A big thanks to all who played along in last week’s sketch challenge! Truly, one of the best parts of my job is being able to see what you create using the Silhouette. The randomly selected winner of that challenge  is…
Cyndi and her darling Halloween card.
{Cyndi please email your contact information to me at blog{at}silhouetteamerica{dot}com so I can send you your prize :)
If you didn’t get a chance to see all of the challenge links, you can check them out here
Before I go, I thought it would be fun to share a project created by one of my co-workers. {also the mastermind behind the 3d pinecone shape}. It’s the type of thing that reminds me that just about anything you can think up, the Silhouette can cut it out.
It takes me back to my elementary school days when I made dioramas in shoe boxes for book reports, only 100 times cooler.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Very cool! My daughter was Red Riding Hood last night in her first totally home-sewn by me costume (whew!)!

    This is just stunning!

  5. Fascinating to see how this window opens up into LRRH world. I love the use of colour (or lack of it.) As someone who is really new to Silhouette (had my machine one week only) would really appreciate knowing the material – what weight of card you’re using to get this kind of definition and free standing rigidity.

Love the 3D effect you’ve gotten by using layers! Very cute and brings back memories of my childhood.

  7. That is so darn cool. I want one. Now to find the time to figure it all out.

  8. Amazing, and very inspiring!! :)
