It’s in PDF and I can’t modify – what do you recommend??

    1. jeana says:

Hi! The instructions on the letter suggest printing it out, writing the letter and then either scanning it or taking a photo of it. Hope that helps. :)

  4. Kelli says:

  6. Jodie says:

Hi Jodie, the instructions on the letter suggest printing it out, writing the letter and then either scanning it or taking a photo of it. Hope that helps. :)

  7. What an awesome giveaway!

  8. I entered! thank you for this wonderful chance!

  9. Yet again you eliminate all of us living outside of the US but how come??? We buy your stuff like the rest…isn’t our money as good as theirs??? It makes me kinda offended that you block us out!!! Please give me an answer on why you do this!!!!!!

    1. Someone asked this very same question on the Facebook page and this is Silhouette’s reply, “Current US regulations don’t allow us to host a contest outside of the US.”

  10. mandyb says:

yeah hey why not internationals able to enter!!!….we happy to pay HUGE costs to ship your product to us….yet you dont give the same back!!!
    smells pretty bad i say!!!

  11. Jeniff says:

This sucks, those who live in other countries do not have a chance to buy it because they do not come, and do this giveaway only for those living in the U.S. who have more facilities, this is a big injustice.

  12. Carole says:

:-( , Oh I was always bought up to believe that Santa managed to travel the whole of the world in one single night! Did someone tell me fibs?

For those living outside the US, this may answer some of your questions: http://www.howstuffworks.com/question541.htm

If you have a Mac and you have iWorks, here is an easy way to type in your answers. Open up Pages template and choose the blank document template. Set the document page margins to 0 on all four sides. Drag the PDF into the Pages doc and resize it so that it fits the page. Then select “arrange” and center it horizontally and vertically. Lock it into place. After that all you have to do is to create text blocks and put them where you want them. Make sure you select a font that’s large enough to read. When the text blocks are in place, “lock” them. Then export the document as a PDF. After that, open the PDF with Preview. Choose Save As, and select jpg and save. Then you can upload the jpg. Hope this helps!

sorry but another miffed, international, hopeful here. I know you have rules, but it is so rotten when you get excited about the things you support and realise, (in the small print,) you aren’t invited to the party! not friendly or sharing ???

  16. Renee says:

If I don’t see my letter to Santa posted on your(Silouette) Pintrest page does that mean that you (Silhouette) did not receive it?

  17. Adele says:

Typical Silhouette America style…NO International entries, happy to sell their products to the rest of the world, even take over the original British company, then exclude everyone except USA in their give aways or comps….typical injustice and slap in the face to the rest of us…WHEN OH WHEN WILL YOU STOP YOUR PREJUDICE???!!!!

  18. Zarah says:

Oh, wow! Makes me momentarily wish I lived in the States. :)

  19. It would be nice to see the entries uploaded to Facebook or Pinterest so those who entered could know their entry was received and is being considered.

  20. Badger says:

A great contest, I love my silhouette and ist accessories, but once again those of us North of the border are excluded – seems the Canadian dollar is good enough to buy stuff, but the border is impermeable to contests :-(
