This week's featured artist is Samantha Walker.
There are lots of fun shapes to choose from in her portfolio... One of my favorites is this dial calendar.
It's cute and super easy to assemble too... Once you've got the pieces print/cut, adhere the scalloped rectangle and small strip to the front side. Then, align the small holes in the front with the those in the dials and secure with a brad.
The back will look like this once all of the dials are attached.
Then, to change the month and date, rotate each dial.
After the calendar was assembled I added the cute little owl and tree branch to the front. When fall is over, I can simply change the leaves to snowflakes, blossoms, hearts etc. depending on the season. It's such a cute addition to the corkboard in my office!
You can find these shapes and others in Samantha Walker's portfolio here.
