FREE Shape of the week :: Trick or Treat bag

bat skeleton

This week's shape is perfect for Halloween projects! For the boy who's still young enough to trick or treat, but too cool for the cute halloween bags/buckets... use an old pillow case, the free shape and some fabric ink and you've got a cool bag for all of his loot.

To make the bag... create your design in Silhouette studio and cut it out of stencil vinyl, minus the skeleton.  Then, using the transfer paper, adhere it to the front of your pillow case.

Next, using the sponge, add a solid layer of fabric ink.

Once the fabric ink is fairly dry, remove it to reveal the design.

Next, while waiting for the ink to finish drying, cut out the bat shape again, this time with the skeleton. Then, place is right over the top of the black bat on your pillow case and ink over the stencil with white fabric ink.

Wait impatiently for the ink to be mostly dry, remove the stencil vinyl and voila...in just a few minutes you have a one of a kind trick or treat bag. It's easy enough the kids can even join in the fun and make their own.

Happy inking!
