Friday Feature & Silhouette Studio Library Organization

Hi friends…Happy Friday!
Today’s feature from Adrianne at Happy Hour Projects is a project that will take literally just minutes, and is a great/inexpensive form of entertainment for the kiddos.
Thanks for the inspiration Adrianne… I can’t wait to make these for my nephews to use in their forts!

Since my post last week on left over shape storage, I’ve been asked about how I file my shapes in Silhouette studio.  Here’s a peek at my library… It may seem like a lot of categories, but I’ve found the more specific it is, the faster I find the shape I’m looking for.

Within some of the categories I also have sub folders that I can view by clicking the plus sign in the folder, or I can hide them from view by clicking the minus sign.
To take it one step further, you can organize the shapes within each folder. Right click to view your options. I sort by name so they are alphabetical.
What are some of your go-to categories?

Wow! My shapes are organized (for example- graphics; holidays: Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween; nature: trees & leaves, flowers; animals; boxes, cards, tags, 3-D shapes), but nowhere near as organized as yours are! I may have to go and re-visit my category list :)

Thanks for the insight on folder organization. My question is… can we back this up? If something bad happens to the computer and needs to be wiped clean, can this be restored?
