Fabric Ink Apparel – little white shoes

The other day when I was out shopping, the store I was in was already stocking it’s shelves with Christmas decorations. A little early maybe? As much as I love Christmas, I’m not ready to give up summer just yet. So while I was diverting my eyes away from all of the glittery goodness I found a pair of darling little white shoes. Cute as they were, I knew that some stencil vinyl, a fun flower shape, some fabric ink and a couple of rhinestones could give them fun pop of summery color!

The stencil vinyl + fabric ink = a perfect pair! I created custom colors by mixing inks. The magenta fabric ink with a little bit of white made the different shades of pink and green mixed with white gave me the bright green color for the leaves.

My word, I have two pairs of canvas kiddie shoes sitting on my crafting table right now awaiting embellishment. I haven’t thought of what to do yet, and along came this inspiration in my in-box. Thank you!! I hadn’t thought of using vinyl stencils and my Cameo … G.E.N.I.U.S.!!!!! And my fabric paints are due in momentarily, so now to scroll the site to pick out the perfect image (and likely revert to the one you noted). ADORABLE!!

    Thank you again!
