simple holiday decor

You might have figured this out already, but I have a slight obsession with decorating for the holidays...*smile*  No time like the present to get started for St. Patrick's day! Today's project is a simple one, perfect for the kids to help with too!

What you'll need:
clover_badge_C00995_17986
patterned paper
soda bottle {or a mason jar would be cute too}
skewers
tape
glue dots {or adhesive of choice}
twine
buttons
distress ink/sponge

After cutting the clovers I sponged the edges with distress ink and taped them to skewers. Then, I added some vintage buttons with a simple glue dot. Finished it with a little twine and a "lucky" flag... voila! simple holiday decor.

What fun things does your family do for St. Patrick's day?

  5. I love quick and easy projects like that. So cute! Now I need to buy some soda for the cute bottles. :) I used up the ones I had last year to make this Easter project.

  6. I just got my Cameo and have been playing around with paper. When I cut a shape and peel it off the mat it curls up on itself. Is that normal? Is there a way to prevent that?

    Thanks for your help!
