FREE shape of the week...

For those who asked, this week's free shape is for you! :) Well, and for everyone else too but was created with you in mind! It is the print and cut calendar from my plan at a glance board.

I designed it in green because it goes with the color scheme in my office, but it's also completely customizable! Here's the skinny on changing colors...

After opening the studio file, I selected the shape and clicked the ungroup icon at the bottom left of the screen.

I wanted to print just the April calendar today, so I selected only the shapes in that calendar and copied/pasted them into a new studio file. {not necessary, just a personal preference} Then, I resized it and changed the page size to letter for printing purposes.

Next, I selected the green shapes. Then, in the fill color window I chose my color.

Voila! A lovely pink color for spring...

Yup, it's that easy! The numbers, text and other shapes are customizable too following the same process.

Same cute calendar, just a completely different style.

Have a fantastic Tuesday everyone!

ps... there is a small hint on the sticky notes in my "plan at a glance" photo as to what tomorrow's project is... anyone have a guess ?  :)

  5. I am a new crafter and haven't had my cameo for long so this may seem a ridiculous question but... I can't figure out how to select multiple items once I ungroup something. In this tutorial you selected only the month of April, How? and when you selected the items to change pink, how do you do that?

    1. hi Pam, not a ridiculous question at all. :) There are a couple of ways you can select multiple shapes at the same time. You can click just outside the bottom corner of the shapes and drag the mouse across the ones you want to select, kind kind of like you would to select rows of text in an email or something. Or, you can hold down the shift key and click on each shape you want to select. You can tell which shapes have been selected as a box will appear around them as they are selected. Hope this helps :) Have a great day!
