Ok I have mentioned several times how much I Love, Adore, Need...these fabric inks. Take a look at this smokin' hot shirt designed by your favey sales guy Andy and yours truly. And yes ladies I am talking about the shirt only! *wink* We made this shirt using the fabric inks and an x from a font I have laying around on the computer. We mixed a few of the colors to achieve the look we wanted and then layered each color, starting from lightest to darkest.
You will need to use the stencil vinyl with the kit or purchase it separately either way, you are going to want some on hand. I am so excited to show you some of the goods that have been designed using the fabric ink! I will do a tutorial soon for you. But for now, enjoy the sight. Ha! Happy Friday and have a great weekend.

Sweet Memories
July 27, 2011
I'm not very good about posting a status on facebook, I often think I would like to share things with my friends and then I always think about the silly ones who write their entire day for everyone to see. While I have a good giggle at a lot of the events, it still makes me worry I might share too much...hehe. Don't get me wrong I do love facebook and I love that it allows me to stay in touch with those I still adore and can not be close to. Yes, here is my segue into the reason I made this card...
Last night I received a message from one of my cousins and it brought me such joy. She has recently given birth to a child that we have all been long awaiting. She told me she was singing to her and the song "You are my sunshine" popped into her head. This was a song she and I and another cousin would often dance and sing to. We of course had an entire show put together any time we felt the need to perform for someone. (poor attendees..haha.) She said it made her giggle and it reminded me of the good times. I cant help but think in that moment she was dreaming of the same sweet memories for her new little one. I was grateful for that little message and thought I would share this card with you today!
I used the silver sketch pen for the lattice background and the text, then I cut out my shapes. I pop-dotted the elephants and added rhinestones to bling it up. Below are the shapes I used.

*** I also wanted to just post this little bit for those of you curious about the new Cameo. For those of you who have a Silhouette, we will still give customer support and carry all of the products that support your machine. We will not be discontinuing any of those products. The Silhouette does everything the Cameo does with the exception of a larger media base. I hope this helps ease any concerns you may have had.

Its all in the details!
July 14, 2011
Take a look at this adorable card! Can you believe the details in this? All the way down to the picket fence and flowers. Aghhh! I just love the Silhouette! First off its so hard to get through all the tiny little cuts you want when you do this by hand. The Silhouette just helps you achieve the tiniest and most accurate cuts perfect for cute little cards like this!
Thanks to Corgi Creations for submitting this great little number on the Flickr page! Here is what she had to say!
Made with the Silhouette. The picket fence, flowers, round window, chimney, and doors were from the Silhouette store, the rest I did all by my onesies. Read more here: corgi-creations.blogspot.com/2011/06/earworm.html

Tutorials: Fill Page
July 11, 2011
I'm not sure if you all are aware, but we have recently added a new update to Silhouette Studio that gives you some really great new features. One of them is the ability to fill a page with a shape. For instance, my oldest will be turning 8 next week and I need to make a few invitations to send out, I have an embellishment that I want to use on all of them so I want to fill a page with them to be cut out. Before I would have to manually arrange the shapes, but now all I have to do is select the shape and hit a button and ...POOF! They are arranged perfectly! Take a look!
Here I already have my registration marks set up to import and fill my shape.
Now that my shape is filled I simply place it where I want it to start cutting and select the replicate button in the top-right tool bar. As you can see down at the bottom there is a button that says fill page.
Click that little guy and WHAM-O! Your page is filled. Super easy and incredibly helpful!
Here is the end project! Ah I love my Silhouette! They turned out perfect!

Simple
July 7, 2011
There are few simple things I dont love. Crispy clean cards are a fave on the LOVE list of simplistic beauties. Sometimes less is more. Dont get me wrong I love a good embellished design, but I cherish the meanings behind simple gifts.
This is a simple print and cut card...oooh thats another thing I love. Sometimes you dont have the right color or the righht paper, so print and cut makes it easy for you to control your creativity. You get to choose the color and the scheme. I filled all my shapes and cut them out. I then used a little sewing to add that extra detail. *Sigh* simply lovely!

Fan Feature
July 6, 2011
I just wanted to post another great flickr feature. Tags are such a great thing to have on hand whether you have a quick banana nut bread you need to send over to a friend who needs you or a birthday invite you weren't prepared for, it is just nice to be able to go to your premade tags and slap one on a gift.
I always am so excited when I see this designer submit her work, so I thought I would share with you! She always cuts out the most intricate and detailed pieces and creates something so lovely!
Thanks a bunch Ania, as always...GORGEOUS!!!

Whilst the Cat was away...
July 1, 2011
Yes, I am talking about the cool cat we all call Conrad here around the office. You all may affectionately know him as the blog guy. Many of you bloggers get to have correspondence with him and for those bloggies he is the guy that makes all your giveaway dreams come true.
He was away for business this week and our awesome sales guy Andy created a little masterpiece for him to return too. A little background...Conrad's favey blog promo was the rhinestone bundle. Everyday, he would find a way to play the ever so popular Glen Campbell diddy..."Rhinestone Cowboy", click here for a great video...lol. So, Andy felt it only appropriate to give him the title.
I just thought you would like to see how it all looks...and yes this is above his desk! Hahaha Yes there are rhinestones in the middle of every sparkle...its very important to pay attention to the details here at Silhouette.

Its just how we roll around here. The Silhouette is the greatest machine ever, so you naturally have to have a group of people who are the greatest ever to get it out to the world. Just thought we would give you a little taste of the greatness...hehe! Have an amazing 4th of July weekend!!!
